Staircase Ventures Announces Investment in Mave

We are thrilled to announce that Staircase Ventures is leading the seed-stage round for Mave.  

Mave enables residential real estate agents to profitably scale their businesses. The company’s AI agent enables real estate agents to automate tailored marketing, create custom content, and have timely, proprietary market data at their fingertips. Mave has close to 20k agents signed up and weekly active engagement is 70%.

There are over 350,000 residential brokerages and 2 million realtors across North America. Collectively, they spend $25 billion annually for administrative support. Of this, $10 billion is spent on sales & marketing admin support. Mave’s vision is to help real estate agents profitably scale their businesses through their tailored AI. The company is starting with the marketing vertical and will later expand to other areas of real estate administration.  

As the residential real estate market remains weak across North America, there is great demand from agents who are looking to connect with their clients more deeply, in a more relevant way, while simultaneously reducing their operating costs. 

Mave was founded by Raz Zohar, an experienced tech operator with a strong track record of driving success at early- and mid-stage tech companies. When we met Raz, we were impressed with his dedication to the mission and deep customer understanding. For instance, he had spent six months as an admin assistant for a real estate agent to deeply understand the problems they face and their workflows. Raz pairs his drive and hustle with a deep care for those around him.
