Ahmed founded and scaled SquareTrade, a Valley-based insurtech/fintech, that he scaled to $2B in annual revenue and $200M EBITDA.
Ahmed co-founded and was CEO of SquareTrade, growing it to become the largest consumer electronics warranty company in the world, with over 150 million policies. SquareTrade was sold to Allstate in 2020 for $1.4 billion. Ahmed then worked with the Vice Chairman on multiple special projects.
Ahmed has also worked as an EiR at Bain Capital Partners and served on the boards of public and private tech companies. Prior to launching SquareTrade, Ahmed worked at McKinsey & Co. and Procter & Gamble. He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Currently, Ahmed is working on his most recent start-up, AutoComplete. Ahmed lives in the Bay Area with his family.
